It's been a big weekend of football across all divisions of English football and one of the most comical moments came down at Spotland, where Rochdale and Plymouth Argyle faced off in a match that important for both clubs. Both of them are at the wrong end of the League One table meaning that every point is vital, so the winner would grab some much needed momentum but more importantly three points on the board.
It was a tense game and with the scores locked at 1-1 with 10 minutes remaining it was anyones for the taking. But then a moment of sheer madness and bad luck struck for the hosts. A standard back pass from midfielder David Perkins went to keeper Josh Lillis who attempted a long punt upfield but a combination of the shocking weather and state of the pitch meant that a huge bobble took the ball over his foot and into the empty net.
It was a crushing blow for Rochdale who battled hard to equalise and it ended up costing them a point which would've taken them a couple of places up the table. But as a neutral it was pretty hilarious to watch and you can do so below! (Starting from 1:17)
