Following the latest instalment of 'Spygate', Hull City face Middlesbrough in the Championship play-off final, with the winner earning their place in the Premier League next season.
We're expecting the final to be tight and tense throughout, and have backed the pair to play out a draw in the opening 90 minutes. Hull have played out five stalemates in their last nine matches, the latest of which arrived in the home leg of their play-off semi-final against Millwall. Meanwhile, six of Middlesbrough's last 11 matches have also ended in draws, with Boro drawing 0-0 in the home leg of their semi-final against Southampton.
While we have backed a draw on Saturday, we do expect to see both teams scoring in the final. Five of Hull's last seven matches have ended with both teams scoring, while five of Middlesbrough's last eight games have also produced goals at both ends of the pitch.
Six of the last eight league meetings between these two clubs have seen both teams score, including December's encounter which Middlesbrough won 4-1. Hull did secure a 1-0 win in the reverse league meeting between the pair, which also took place in December.
Hopefully the events of 'Spygate' won't have taken too much focus away from either team, but it's hard to see how it couldn't. We're backing a cagey 1-1 draw after 90 minutes and could even see this final going all the way to a penalty shoot-out.
Hull 1-1 Middlesbrough
