Lincoln City are looking to continue their impressive form as they face Exeter City in League One on Saturday afternoon.
Exeter City currently sit 18th in League One with five wins, one draw and eight losses from fourteen games so far this season.
Exeter look like they could be falling victim to the dreaded 'second season syndrome' as they find themselves just five points outside of the relegation zone having played a game more than most sides currently occupying the drop zone.
They're coming into this game amidst a very poor run of form having lost each of their last six matches in the league, the most recent of which was a 2-0 defeat at Derby County.
The result was yet another defeat in a long string of poor results and manager Gary Caldwell will be hugely concerned by their proficiency in front of goal given they've scored a measly one goal in their last six games.
It's clearly going to take a monumental turnaround for Exeter to drag themselves out of the rut they currently find themselves in and a good way to start would be to improve their form at home that has seen them win just one of their last five games on their own turn, losing four of them.
It's hard to predict a win for Exeter regardless of who they're facing at present so this one is looking like it could be another long afternoon for them.
Lincoln City currently sit 9th in League One with six wins, three draws and four losses from thirteen games so far this season.
The Imps have had a strong start to the season on the whole as they look to build on last season's mid-table showing.
They enter this game in good form in the league having won three of their last five outings, most recently chalking a 3-1 win over Charlton Athletic on the board.
The win over Charlton was a very commendable one for Lincoln given their opponents were on a long unbeaten streak, with a brace from Hakeem Adelakun and a goal from Sean Roughan sealing a deserved three points in light of an impressive performance.
Lincoln's away form was their achilles heel last season and they come into this one having won two, drawn one and lost two of their last five on the road so it could be worse, and given they won their most recent away fixture they may well fancy their chances here against a side that are there for the taking.
For our Exeter vs. Lincoln prediction, we're going for a 1-0 win for the away side.
