Fleetwood Town and Port Vale will clash at Highbury this weekend in League One with the home side heading into this one on a three-game losing run not long after registering on an eight-game unbeaten streak.
Scott Brown's side have lost to Burnley 1-0 in the FA Cup fifth round and gone on to lose to Fleetwood Town 1-0 and Wycombe Wanderers 2-0 in recent League One games. It means three losses in a row without even scoring a goal - this is their worst run of form this season under Brown.
It has rocketed Fleetwood down from 11th into 14th in the table and it now puts them behind Port Vale in the table for the first time in many weeks. However, there is only a point between the two with Vale in 13th and one clear. On the other hand, the club have managed to put together two more wins than then, while also drawing seven times and losing 16 - Fleetwood have lost just 13 times in League One.
Port Vale come into this one back in the win column after a 1-0 win over MK Dons that saw Aaron Donnelly score in the first half of a relatively comfortable win. Prior to this, Vale did lose 2-1 to Bolton Wanderers, 1-0 to Morecambe, but they did defeat Exeter City 1-0 as well to make it two losses and two wins in their past four games.
Fleetwood are the underdogs at home here despite a decent run of form over the past few weeks. Both teams to score is priced at 5/6, however, as attention turns to Jayden Stockley and Promise Omochere for goals with both mens priced at 15/2 to score first and 15/2 to score the last goal. Carlos Mendes Gomes has also been amongst the goals in recent times and he sits at 8/1 to score the first or last goal and 10/3 to net anytime.
If the home side are to win, it likely comes in narrow fashion - Fleetwood to win 1-0, 2-0 or 2-1 is priced at 11/4. Fleetwood to win 3-0, 3-1 or 3-2 is also at 11/1, while a 1-1, 2-2 or 3-3 draw is at 10/3, just as Port Vale to win 1-0, 2-0 or 2-1 sits at 5/2. Port Vale to win 3-0, 3-1 or 3-2 is also priced at 9/1.
