Lincoln City will welcome Blackpool to the LNER Stadium this weekend with the club looking to crack the top six this weekend in League One after a solid start to the season for a change after previously struggling in the first opening games.
The Imps edged past Shrewsbury Town last time out with a 1-0 win on the road that saw the club move into eighth in the table after four matches in League One.
Ethan Hamilton was the hero once again for the club that day, as they have also beaten Wycombe Wanderers this season with a fantastic 3-0 win on the road with a goal each from Daniel Mandriou, Teddy Bishop and Reece Hackett-Fairchild.
Hackett-Fairchild would score once more last before that in a 2-2 draw against Northampton Town, as Paudie O'Connor also scored a goal. Lincoln did, however, concede in the 98th minute of the game.
Blackpool are only two places behind Lincoln in the table, but after three 0-0 draws in a row, they've been perhaps the most dull team to watch in the EFL this season. This has seen them draw with Port Vale, Leyton Orient and Exeter City, while the club has also beaten Derby County in the EFL Cup first round.
