Fleetwood Town have slipped back into the losing column ahead of a meeting with Wycombe Wanderers away from home as Scott Brown eyes up a spot closer to the top half of the table once again.
Although not in the worst bout of form they have shown all season, Fleetwood are heading into this one with two 1-0 losses in a row. Burnley knocked them out of the FA Cup in the first outing, as the club then went on to lose to Cheltenham Town back in League One.
Prior to this, Brown's side managed to win 1-0 against Peterborough United, Cambridge United and Morecambe, as they also drew 0-0 with Plymouth Argyle. Prior to that draw, they also defeated Sheffield Wednesday in the FA Cup and defeated Charlton Athletic back in League One. It does mean that the club had previously put together a six-game unbeaten run.
As for Wycombe, they remain winless under Matt Bloomfield and since Gareth Ainsworth departed the club. This run started with a 2-0 loss to Shrewsbury Town before a 1-1 draw against Exeter City. Now, however, up against a Fleetwood team struggling for form once again, this should be Bloomfield's best chance to get a win under his belt.
