Bradford City enter this weekend's set of games up into sixth after securing only one win in March as the club welcomes Hartlepool United to their own patch after a positive 1-1 draw against Northampton Town.
Bradford met with Newport County last time out as Andy Cook got another goal for what is turning out to be his best goalscoring season in his career. A late own goal forced a 1-1 draw, but the Bantams also drew 0-0 with Walsall just before this. The club's last win was in that stunning victory over Colchester United that witnessed the club score a goal in the 93rd minute and the 94th minute of the game where Cook netted once again.
A victory over Gillingham just before that forced a four-game winning run in the long run. Mark Hughes' side are now coming into this one on 59 points and with a game in hand to play over Stockport County just above them on the same amount of points. What's more, Bradford enter this one with just 30 goals let in, which is only bettered by Leyton Orient at the top of the table.
As for Hartlepool, Josh Umerah got in on the act last time out with a goal in the 37th minute in a positive draw against Northampton. Nevertheless, after also drawing 1-1 with Tranmere Rovers and 3-3 with Walsall, they also come into this one having lose to Newport County and Crewe Alexandra and drawing 2-2 with Wimbledon - it now puts the club on a seven-game winless run since defeating Doncaster Rovers on the road at the start of February.
Hartlepool remain in 22nd after six wins and 18 losses in the league, and while the Bantams have one of the best defensive records in the Football League, no side in EFL has let in more goals than Hartlepool with 64 on their record.
They have also scored just 38 times in 36 games and sit only one point above Crawley Town in the bottom two. At the same time, Crawley have two games in hand and can jump out of the drop zone if they can win them.
