Crawley vs. Mansfield Prediction, Tips & Stats

Mansfield Town are looking to keep the pressure on the top three in League Two this weekend as they take on Crawley Town.

Crawley Town currently sit 11th in League Two with nine wins, three draws and eight losses from twenty games this season.

Crawley are much improved from last season's horror show that saw them contest relegation for the entire campaign despite entering the season as one of the automatic promotion favourites.

They're now looking like a side capable of mounting a serious playoff push and they enter this game in decent form having won three of their last five league games.

Their most recent outing in the league saw them claim a 2-1 win away from home at Colchester United, with goals from Liam Kelly and Danilo Orsi enough to secure all three points.

Their form at home has also been encouraging as they come into this one having won three of their last five games on home soil, with both of their last two home games ending in wins.

Things are looking good for Crawley and there are plenty of reasons to be optimistic heading into this game; despite the difficulty of the fixture on paper they'll fancy themselves to get a result here.

Mansfield Town currently sit 4th in League Two with nine wins, nine draws and one loss from nineteen games this season.

The Stags are having a cracking campaign and look in a very strong position to mount a serious push for automatic promotion.

They're entering this game in decent form having won three, drawn one and lost one of their last five games, the most recent of which was a 2-2 draw against Tranmere Rovers.

The draw against Tranmere was a pretty disappointing result and given it followed a 2-1 defeat against Swindon Town it means they're entering this game fairly out of form.

However, the loss at Swindon was their first league defeat of the season so the overall picture is still a rosy one for Mansfield and if they can rebound here then morale will no doubt bounce back immediately.

For our Crawley vs. Mansfield prediction, we're going for a 2-2 draw.

        Crawley Team News

Harry Forster was forced off after coming on as a substitute last weekend and is therefore a major doubt for this one.

Other than that Crawley have no fresh injury concerns for this game and should stick with the same side that started the 2-1 win over Colchester last weekend.

        Mansfield Team News

Mansfield could make a few of changes after a couple of disappointing results on the bounce.

George Maris missed the draw with Tranmere last weekend and is a doubt here.

Callum Johnson could come back in at right-back with Jordan Bowery moving further forward.
