Salford City continue their attempts to climb up the League Two table as they face Swindon Town this weekend.
Salford City currently sit 15th in League Two with five wins, one draw and seven losses from thirteen games so far this season.
It's been an uncharacteristically poor season so far for a Salford side that are almost perennially expected to challenge for the top seven in this league but have instead looked closer to a relegation candidate.
Despite their poor start they have improved in recent matches as they come into this game having won three of their last four in the league.
They did, though, fall to defeat in their most recent game in a 3-2 loss at Wrexham. The loss was an immensely painful one for Salford given they were 2-1 up with three minutes of normal time remaining only to concede in the 88th and 89th minutes of the game to lose by one goal.
They now must quickly banish memories of that game and focus solely on the task ahead here as they have a very winnable fixture waiting in front of them.
They've lost three of their last five games at home but having won their last two on the bounce on their own patch they'll be confident of beating a good Swindon side here.
Swindon Town currently sit 6th in League Two with six wins, four draws and two losses from twelve games so far this season.
It's been a good start to the campaign on the whole for a Swindon side that have been up and down and are fairly tough to figure out given they can fluctuate between looking electric one week and flat the following week.
They enter this game amidst a mixed run of form in the league having won two, drawn one and lost two of their last five games, the most recent of which was a 2-0 win over Newport County.
Goals from Dan Kemp and Rushian Hepburn-Murphy sealed a solid three points in a result that broke a run of two successive defeats.
Their away form is quite a concern coming into this game with Swindon having failed to win any of their last five games on the road and given Salford's recent form this one could spell trouble for them.
This should be a competitive affair but we think it's one that favours the home side.
