Keith Andrews' Brentford side will hope to take another step towards potential European qualification, as they host a Brighton & Hove Albion side, who are completely out of sorts in recent weeks.
Brentford secured their passage into the fifth round of the FA Cup with a 1-0 win over National League North side Macclesfield Town, and the Bees are now heading into this fixture with no losses in their last four matches in all competitions. Brentford have been excellent at home this season, accumulating 1.92 points per game and 25 points from a possible 39 at the GTECH Community Stadium. The Bees have won two of their last three league fixtures, with victories over Aston Villa (0-1) and Newcastle United (2-3) and a draw against league leaders Arsenal.
As for Brighton & Hove Albion, the away side could find themselves dragged into an unlikely relegation battle, with the Seagulls only seven points clear of the relegation zone, but their form isn't helping matters. Fabian Hurzeler's side are without a win in their last six matches, following their dismal exit at the hands of Liverpool in the FA Cup. The Seagulls have also found goals difficult to come by, as the away side have failed to score in their last three, while also failing to keep a clean sheet in their last eight. Statistically, Brighton & Hove Albion have the fifth-worst away record in the Premier League, with only 10 points gained from 12 matches on the road.
Brentford should be assured of a victory here. The Bees' home record, alongside the general form of their counterparts, should provide Keith Andrews with enough impetus to secure a win in this fixture.
Brentford 2-0 Brighton
