A huge game in the relegation battle takes place at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this weekend as Spurs take on Nottingham Forest, with both sides desperate for a victory.
Igor Tudor's men have finally shown signs of improvement in their last two matches with encouraging signs shown against Liverpool and Atletico Madrid, despite falling to an aggregate defeat against the latter. However, their league form has to improve or the home side could be facing life in the Championship next season. Tottenham Hotspur have lost five of their last six league fixtures, and in each of those defeats, Tudor's side has conceded at least two goals. Spurs still have their injury issues with key players such as Joao Palhinha and Dejan Kulusevski.
The main concern for Tottenham in the Premier League this season has been their home form. The home side have averaged 0.67 points per game this campaign at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, winning only 13% of their matches on home soil.
As for Nottingham Forest, the Reds are in a similar position with their new manager as Spurs are with Igor Tudor. Vitor Pereira (formerly of Wolves), is yet to register a win in the Premier League but has managed to record a win in Europe which could provide a significant confidence boost to his side ahead of their trip to the capital. Nottingham Forest are without a win in the Premier League since the end of January, yet recent performances against Manchester City and Liverpool are encouraging.
Both sides are out of form, so a draw is on the cards, especially with both teams fighting desperately to avoid relegation. Over 2.5 goals have been scored in six of the last seven matches involving Tottenham Hotspur, so we predict a 2-2 draw.
Tottenham Hotspur 2-2 Nottingham Forest
