On Tuesday night Manchester City face German Bundesliga side Borussia Monchengladbach at the Puskas Arena in Hungary.
City are in control of the tie, having beaten Gladbach 2-0 late last month at the same venue, via goals from Bernardo Silva and Gabriel Jesus.
German midfielder Ilkay Gundogan is the player in focus, with the former Borussia Dortmund man expected to start, having been rested in the Citizen’s 3-0 win at Fulham on Saturday night.
Gundogan has had an outstanding season, having scored 14 goals in 29 appearances in both the Premier League and Champions League, with his last goal coming last week in City’s 5-2 hammering of Southampton at the Etihad.
The 30-year-old is priced at 9/2 to score first against Gladbach in midweek, which would be his third goal in the Champions League this season, having found the back of the net against FC Porto and Marseille in the group stage.
