In fact, the Senegalese striker is the fifth top scorer in the Championship and the top scorer for Sheffield United with an impressive ten goals, and a further seven assists in 28 games.

This gives Ndiaye a goal every 226 minutes, with an impressive 28% goal conversion and a 53% shot accuracy, already a vast improvement over his attacking statistics last season. In 27 appearances he has already scored three more goals than his entire 2021/22 Championship campaign.

Despite The Blades losing the reverse fixture back in November, both them and Ndiaye are in good form with four wins and a draw in their last five Championship games.

Middlesbrough face Blackpool at the Riverside Stadium this Saturday as third-place Boro looks to close the 12-point gap to second-place Sheffield United and strengthen their promotion hopes.

Chuba Akpom comes into this clash with 23rd-place Blackpool with good momentum after scoring in Middlesbrough’s 2 - 0 win over promotion rivals Watford. The first-half goal against Watford was Akpom’s 14th of the season, making him the top scorer in the Championship.

The Englishman’s 14 goals and one assist in 22 appearances gives him a goal every 120 minutes in the Championship and makes him responsible for 31% of all of Middlesbrough’s goals this season, helping Boro be the third-best attacking side in the league.

Along with this, Akpom is no stranger to scoring against Blackpool, scoring in Boro’s 3 - 0 win over Blackpool back in November. Overall, Middlesbrough have always been successful against Blackpool, winning 31 of their 70 total meetings.

Seventh-place Peterborough travel to bottom-of-the-league Forest Green Rovers in one of the Saturday afternoon clashes, with Jonson Clarke-Harris hoping to add more goals to his already impressive tally.

Clarke-Harris will be coming into the game with high hopes, especially with his performance in Peterborough’s last game, scoring both goals in the 2 - 1 win over Portsmouth. These two goals took the 28-year-old to 15 goals for the season, a total that lands him at League One’s top scorer.

Clarke-Harris has scored 15 of Peterborough’s 43 goals this season in 26 appearances, giving him a goal every 149 minutes in League One. This also gives the Englishman a 24% goal conversion rate and a 55% shot accuracy.

The likelihood of a Clarke-Harris goal against Forest Green is high, especially considering his performance in the reverse fixture back in October where The Posh ran away with a 4 - 1 win, Clarke-Harris finding himself on the scoresheet that day.

Bristol Rovers, who currently occupy the 12th place spot in League One, host 20th place MK Dons at the Memorial Ground this Saturday afternoon, in a clash that The Gas will hope will grant them the three points to keep them in the top half of the table.

The two sides have already met twice this season with The Gas taking a win in both games, a 4 - 1 win in the Football League Trophy and a 1 - 0 win in the league in October. Despite not scoring in either of those games, Collins is likely to find the back of the net in this one.

Though Walsall won the first meeting between the two this season, Northampton have grown as the season has progressed, making a Northampton win and Hoskins goal even more likely.
