Our penultimate pick sees Monaco take on Lyon in Ligue 1 and we think the home side will take all three points.
Monaco are in good form as they enter this game having lost just one of their last five matches, winning three of those.
Conversely, Lyon have struggled this season and have lost three of their last four games so we expect the home side to come out on top.
Last but not least we have a pick from the Premier League where we're backing over 2.5 goals in the game between Nottingham Forest and Tottenham Hotspur.
Spurs are one of the most entertaining sides to watch in Europe at present and they enter this game having seen over 2.5 goals scored in all of their last five games.
Given Forest have seen over 2.5 goals scored in three of their last five games we think this one looks a promising pick.
Southampton are winless this season, with only one point from 24 available. Manchester City are unbeaten this season after eight games, with six wins and two draws. Manchester City have not lost a Premier League game since December 2023, when they lost to Aston Villa.
Aston Villa have only lost once in their last five home games in the Premier League, stretching back to last season. Unai Emery’s side are unbeaten in their previous three home games since the 2-0 defeat to Arsenal earlier in the campaign. Aston Villa are unbeaten in their last three meetings with Bournemouth, with the Cherries failing to keep a clean sheet in that time.
Brentford's home form gives them a favourable advantage in this game, having won three of their four home games at the GTECH Community Stadium in the league this season. Brentford are unbeaten in the last three meetings against Ipswich Town. The Tractor Boys are winless in their eight games played so far.
Wolves have a terrible start to the season, as they sit rooted to the bottom of the table after eight games, facing a Brighton side flying in the European places this season. Wolves are winless in their previous six, having also lost their last five in all competitions.
Everton are unbeaten in their last five games in all competitions. Since the defeat against Aston Villa, the Toffees have steadied the ship under Sean Dyche, winning twice in their previous five and obtaining three draws. Fulham have only won once in their last five away games.
The Red Devils have a strong head-to-head record against West Ham, winning four of the last seven meetings. West Ham come into this game amidst a very poor run of form having won only one of their previous seven games, the most recent of which was a 4-1 defeat away at Tottenham.
Chelsea are in much better form than Newcastle United, having won three of their previous five games, compared to Newcastle United, who have only won once in their last five - drawing twice and losing twice. Newcastle's record at Stamford Bridge is less than desirable, having not won there since 2012.
Crystal Palace are still chasing their first win of the season, having lost their last three games and winless in their previous four. Tottenham have a terrific record against Crystal Palace, having won the last five meetings between the two sides and Spurs in particular scoring first in eight of the previous ten meetings between the two teams.
Arsenal have only lost once in their previous nine home fixtures in the Premier League, with their most recent defeat at the Emirates being the 2-0 defeat against Aston Villa during the latter stages of last season. Liverpool have won their previous eight, with the Reds having won seven of their eight Premier League fixtures this season. Arne Slot’s men are unbeaten away from home this season, with four wins from four in the Premier League.
