ITV Racing Tips – Saturday 30th May 2026 Best Bets for Carlisle, Beverley & Chester

Nine races will be covered on ITV Racing this Saturday. The feature comes from Carlisle, with the Group Three Lester Piggott Fillies' Stakes due off at 15:10.

We have gone through all televised races on Saturday, picking out ITV horse racing tips, and an accumulator for ITV racing.

13:30 - Carlisle - Opportunity

The rearranged Saturday card from Haydock will now take place at Carlisle this weekend, with a handicap over a mile and three kicking off the action.

This looks like a good chance for Opportunity to score a second win under rules. The William Haggas yard is in excellent form, and the four-year-old by Frankel wasn’t beaten far at Ascot earlier this month over a mile and four on his first start since being gelded.

Should be suited by this step back in trip after winning over a mile and three at Haydock last April.

13:45 - Beverley - Impartiality

Racing from Beverley is also covered on ITV this Saturday, beginning with a handicap over a mile and two.

Impartiality is the only previous course winner in the field, and he should be suited by this step back up in trip after finishing fifth of 13 over a mile at Thirsk two weeks ago.

Has run some big races in defeat over the last 12 months, and he looks back on a workable mark at an each-way price.

14:00 - Carlisle - Rousing Encore

Ruth Carr-trained Rousin Encore could be an interesting each-way play at a bigger price in the Reverence Handicap.

The six-year-old has run below his best on his previous three starts, but had looked competitive prior to that. Will be suited by the higher draw this weekend, and James Sullivan retains the ride.

Ground conditions would be a slight concern, but he has previously won on quick ground at York.

14:15 - Beverley - Kodi Bear Light

An interesting EBF Fillies’ Conditions Stakes is next up from Beverley.

The Karl Burke team is in red-hot form at present, and Kodi Bear Light could be primed to run a big race despite carrying a penalty. Clifford Lee jumps back aboard.

The two-year-old by Kodi Bear was an excellent winner at Thirsk in May, beating Miss Tuite by a length. Should come on for that experience, and there should be more to come.

14:33 - Carlisle - Washington Heights

Next up is the Listed Achilles Stakes from Carlisle. Washington Heights has previous winning form over course and distance, and likely needed his two previous runs to get back up to speed.

Was unsuited by the run of the race at Newmarket last time, and should be suited by this stiffer challenge after winning at York over five furlongs impressively last July.

Ground conditions should suit, and Kevin Ryan’s yard is striking at 14%.

14:48 - Beverley - The Dancing Pirate

The big race on the card at Beverley on Saturday is the Two Year Old Trophy.

The Dancing Pirate should come on for his debut run at Newmarket at the start of the month, when he was not suited by the track. Ran well despite making the running.

Different tactics could suit his chances this weekend, while the experience from debut will also see him in a better light on Saturday.

15:10 - Carlisle - Azaniya

Estrange could be vulnerable on her return to the track after a 224-day break in the Group Three Lester Piggott Fillies’ Stakes.

Therefore, Azaniya could be primed to fire with a fitness advantage for the in-form combination of Owen Burrows and Kieran Shoemark. The Night of Thunder filly likely needed her return effort when fifth at Salisbury.

She had previously won four from five career starts, which included an excellent four-length win over a mile and two in the Prix Solitude. This step up to a mile and three should suit, and she is likely still improving.

15:30 - Chester - Elements of Fire

Chester is also covered on Saturday, with a seven-furlong handicap due off at 15:30.

Elements of Fire should stand a good chance from a low draw, and he is preferred to bounce back after finishing seventh at Ascot last time. All three of his wins this season have come over seven furlongs, meaning that this step back up in trip is a plus.

Is yet to win on the turf, but has previously run with credit on two previous efforts on the grass.

15:45 - Carlisle - Crest of Fire

The Silver Bowl Handicap is the big betting race of the day from Carlisle.

Crest of Fire looks on an eye-catching mark after making his long-awaited return to action at Southwell this week, beating the field by a dominant ten-length margin. Had previously shown encouraging signs on the turf, including when finishing a neck second in an eight-runner handicap at Doncaster.

Yard form is a slight negative, but is otherwise easy to make a case for.
