14:30 - Royal Ascot - Sea Venture

Day three of Royal Ascot kicks off with the Listed Chesham Stakes, run over seven furlongs by horses aged two. Plenty will have interesting claims, but Sea Venture could be of the most interest for the George Scott team.

He was very impressive on debut, beating a fairly talented field by three lengths at Haydock. May be underestimated up in trip.

15:05 - Royal Ascot - Arc Ole Ole

Next up is the King George V Stakes. Arc Ole Ole has been a common selection in these tips articles, and he still looks well handicapped after back-to-back wins this season.

He was in dominant fashion after being stepped up to a mile and four at York last time, and was a better winner than the bare winning margin. Likely to go close at Royal Ascot on these terms.

15:40 - Royal Ascot - Gilded Prize

Fillies will be in action over a mile and three in the Group Two Ribblesdale Stakes. It could be best to forgive Gilded Prize’s effort last time, as the Franks Graffard runner was unsuited by the run of the race when fifth in a Group Two in France.

Had looked incredibly progressive before that effort, easily winning on back-to-back starts. A return to a former surface and the step up in trip make her very interesting.

16:15 - Royal Ascot - Scandinavia

The feature of the week is the Group One Ascot Gold Cup. Aidan O’Brien has won the race on a record nine occasions, and Scandinavia looks like a natural heir to Kyprios.

The four-year-old was an excellent winner of the Group One St Leger last year, and has won five from six efforts in stakes company. Although his only defeat did come at Royal Ascot last year when he was narrowly touched off.

Has started the season in excellent form, winning on back-to-back starts. A return to this extreme staying trip is a major plus, and he’s hard to beat.

16:50 - Royal Ascot - Organise

Competitive handicaps continue after the feature, with a big field renewal of the Britannia Stakes. Organise could be of the most interest for the John & Thady Gosden team.

The three-year-old was excellent on return at York, before he was only narrowly denied in the Esher Cup. These terms and conditions should suit his obvious chance.

17:35 - Royal Ascot - My Love Is King

The penultimate race on Day 3 of Royal Ascot is the Group Three Hampton Court Stakes. My Love Is King has been hitting the crossbar so far this season, but he clearly shows plenty of ability for the Gosden team.

Should be competitive following a career-best effort when second in the Newmarket Stakes last time.

18:10 - Royal Ascot - Arctic Dawn

The ITV coverage concludes with the Buckingham Palace Stakes. Arctic Dawn could be an interesting contender for the Daniel and Claire Kubler yard.

The five-year-old has won twice from seven starts on the turf, and was an excellent winner on his second start this season when beating a decent field by three lengths. Should be competitive once again.
