Stockport to win
Despite the cup defeat in midweek, Stockport County are going steady in the league, with two wins and two draws in their last four league games. This run of form has seen the Hatters rise up to seventh in the league standings, having only lost twice all season in League One.
Blackpool are likely to be without a manager in the dugout for their trip to Stockport, given the timely departure of Steve Bruce from Bloomfield Road. Bruce was dismissed following a poor start to the season for the Tangerines, as they sit in 23rd in the league standings. Blackpool are coming into this game winless in their last three matches and with only two league wins this season.
AFC Wimbledon to win
AFC Wimbledon has performed brilliantly this campaign, as the newly promoted side is fifth in the league table after 11 games played, having picked up seven wins. The home side for this fixture has won their last five matches in all competitions, which includes a notable win away at Doncaster Rovers (1-2).
Port Vale have been solid this season as Darren Moore's side are 16th in the league table. However, away from home, the visitors have shown inconsistencies, winning only two of their five league games on the road this season.
Bolton to win
Burton Albion's home record has been less than desirable this campaign, as the Brewers have only won once at the Pirelli Stadium in the league. Burton Albion have lost their last three matches at home in the league, failing to score in each of those defeats.
As for Bolton Wanderers, following their win against Peterborough United (2-1), Steven Schumacher's side are on the verge of the top six places, only two points adrift of Huddersfield Town. The Trotters have won the last three meetings between the two sides, with no losses in six against the Brewers.
Gillingham to win
Although Gillingham have slipped up in recent weeks, they will still fancy their chances against a Cheltenham Town side who are struggling down the bottom end of the league. Gareth Ainsworth's side have only lost once at home this season, winning four of their five home matches this campaign in League Two.
Cheltenham Town have a terrible record away from home, as they are without a win since April on the road in League Two. The away side suffered terribly in their last away game in the league, conceding seven to Grimsby Town, having been reduced to nine men.
Grimsby to win
Grimsby's midweek defeat against Doncaster Rovers will likely only be a small blemish on their recent form, as the Mariners have won three of their last five league matches with two straight wins against Cheltenham Town (7-1) and Salford City (0-2).
Colchester United's 6-2 victory against Chesterfield was badly needed, as the visitors were on a terrible run of form in the league. Colchester United have only won twice in the league this season, having gone seven league games without a win. The visitors have not kept a clean sheet in their last 10 games.
Cambridge to win
Shrewsbury Town are without a win in their last four matches, and they have also conceded first in five of their last six games. The home side have failed to win any of their home league matches this campaign.
Cambridge United are unbeaten in their last three matches in all competitions, with four points picked up from their last two matches following a win against Crawley Town (3-1) and a draw against Tranmere Rovers (0-0). Cambridge United have also won the last three meetings between the two sides.
Accrington Stanley to win
Accrington Stanley are in slightly better league form coming into this game, with two wins in their last five league games, which includes an impressive win against MK Dons (1-2).
Newport County kicked off their league season with four points from their opening two games; however, the form since has been nothing short of horrendous. The away side has lost eight of their last nine league matches.
