Serie A league leaders Inter Milan travel to 14th placed Spezia, knowing that four wins would logically see them win the league title for the first time since 2010 due to their superior goal difference over AC Milan.

All of Spezia’s last five matches against Bologna, Crotone, Lazio, Cagliari and Atalanta have landed in the over 2.5 goals market, with Vincenzo Italiano’s side scoring eight times and conceding 12 across these fixtures. Spezia have the fourth-worst defence in the Serie A this campaign having leaked 59 goals in 31 matches.

Inter were recently held to a 1-1 draw away at Napoli which has seen them edge closer towards the title and the last time they were involved in a game that yielded over 2.5 goals was in a 2-1 win against Sassuolo at the San Siro, where strikes from Lautaro Martinez and Romelu Lukaku saw Antonio Conte’s side take all three points.

The last time these two clubs met was back in December, where Inter narrowly won the match 2-1 thanks to goals from Achraf Hakimi and Lukaku.

Former Manchester United striker Lukaku is the second top scorer in Serie A at present, having scored 21 goals in 30 matches. Inter are also the second top scorers in the league having found the back of the net 70 times in 31 games.

The next match on this list comes from Bundesliga 2, where sixth in the table Fortuna Dusseldorf host seventh-placed St. Pauli at the Merkur Spiel-Arena.

Four of Fortuna’s last five matches in the German second tier have yielded over 2.5 goals in 3-0, 2-1 and 3-1 wins against the likes of Osnabruck, Darmstadt and Nurnberg, whilst also losing 3-0 to league leaders Bochum at home late on in March.

St. Pauli come into this match in good form, having beaten the likes of Osnabruck 2-1, Eintracht Braunschweig 2-0, Erzgebirge Aue 3-1 and Wurzburger Kickers 4-0, meaning that three of their last four matches have landed in the over 2.5 goals market.

The last meeting between these two sides was back in December, which finished in a comfortable 3-0 win for Dusseldorf, where Matthias Zimmermann, Rouwen Hennings and Edgar Prib all got on the scoresheet.

Lyon face AS Monaco in the Coupe de France quarter-finals on Wednesday night, with both teams coming into this game in good form.

The hosts have won their last two matches 2-1 and 3-0 against the likes of Nantes and Angers, with Memphis Depay scoring four of their five goals. The Holland international is having an impressive season with Lyon and has managed to score 20 goals and make nine assists in 35 matches this season.

Meanwhile, Monaco have seen four of their last five matches land in the over 2.5 goals market, as they have beaten both Bordeaux and Dijon by 3-0 score lines in the league, as well as hammering Metz and Saint-Etienne 4-0.

In terms of goals, these two are the second and third top scorers in Ligue 1 this season, as Lyon have scored 65, just five shy of Monaco’s 70. The away side’s strike pairing of Wissam Ben Yedder and Kevin Volland has managed 32 league goals between.

The last time these two sides met was back in October, where Lyon thumped Monaco 4-1 via first-half goals from Depay, Karl Toko Ekambi (2) and Houssem Aouar.

The final match on this list sees Luzern take on Lausanne Sport in the Swiss Super League.

The hosts Luzern are currently eighth in the table and have scored the second-most goals in the division with 49 in 29 matches, but also have the worst defensive record in the league, conceding the same amount as they have scored.

Lausanne Sport are fourth in the Swiss top flight with 40 points and are only two behind second-placed FC Basel.

The over 2.5 goals market has landed in three of Luzern’s last five matches, in two separate defeats to Basel where they conceded four on each occasion, as well as a recent defeat to Lausanne Sport, where a brace from Lucas Da Cunha sealed a 2-1 win for Lausanne.

Lausanne have won three of their last four games, with all of them yielding over 2.5 goals, as they beat St. Gallen 4-3, Luzern as mentioned above and Vaduz 2-1 last Sunday.
