Sergio Reguilon Transfer News & Odds

Tottenham Hotspur left-back Sergio Reguilon could be on his way out following the recent arrival of Ivan Perisic at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

The Spaniard is yet to play a game this season and has found himself behind the likes of Ryan Sessegnon in the pecking order.

Here we take a look at which clubs are interested in the former Real Madrid and Sevilla full-back.

According to The Athletic, Nottingham Forest are the frontrunners for Reguilon, with reliable journalist David Ornstein reporting that the Spaniard could join as competition for new signing Omar Richards.

At present, Reguilon is approaching match fitness, but, following the signing of Perisic, he could become surplus to requirements or be allowed to leave on loan.

Lazio have also been linked with a move for Reguilon, as the Serie A outfit have just one left-back on their books.

With Riza Durmisi clearly surplus to requirements having spent the last three seasons on loan at Nice, Salernitana and Sparta Rotterdam, whilst Lazio’s only serious left-back option currently stands at 22-year-old Serb, Dimitrije Kamenovic who they signed from Cukaricki last year.

Reguilon would undoubtedly be an upgrade on their current options, hence why Lazio have shown an interest.

Lazio are priced at 6/1 to sign Reguilon from Spurs.

Atalanta are in a similar position to that which Lazio finds themselves in, as they are short on left-back options, with the likes of Joakim Maehle and Davide Zappacosta being forced to play there.

The Serie A outfit often use a back five, like Tottenham and usually favours full-backs with an attacking approach, something which would undoubtedly suit Reguilon’s play style.
