One of the biggest talking points from Sunday’s action in the Premier League came off the pitch, as Sky Sports’ Patrick Davidson made a huge gaff by mistaking Jan Siewert for a supporter in the stands.
It immediately circulated around social media as Sky were left red-faced after thinking they were going to nab themselves an exclusive soundbite from the incoming boss, but the Terriers have now made their decision.
As expected, they have now brought Siewert into the club, but have drafted in his doppleganger, now known as ‘Martin from Wakefield’, to appear in his official announcement video on social media.
It's pretty cringe to say the least. Starting with Martin answering a phone call and looking at a picture of himself, before being told by Siewert to leave his new office. Let’s hope that Siewert’s managerial skills are better than his acting skills.
