Jordan Pickford Transfer News & Odds

Here we take a look at Jordan Pickford’s transfer odds with the Everton goalkeeper potentially leaving Goodison Park at the end of the season if the Toffees fail to avoid relegation from the Premier League.

Pickford signed for Everton for £30m from Sunderland in the summer of 2017, a British record fee for a goalkeeper at the time and has made 177 Premier League appearances since, notably paying a key role in England’s recent successes too, having been in goal as England made it to the final of Euro 2020, as well as helping the Three Lions reach the 2018 World Cup semi-finals.

Tottenham Hotspur Odds: 4/1

The Englishman would still have two years left on his current contract in the summer transfer window. Whether Frank Lampard’s side would be willing to part ways with him or not is still unknown. They could decide to keep him as they look to rebuild under their new manager.

However, Everton’s financial issues could get even worse if they end up getting relegated to the Championship at the end of this campaign. They are just one point above the relegation battle at this moment and in real threat of going down. If that does happen, it remains to be seen if Spurs could get a foothold in that case.

Tottenham may need to have plans to identify a long term successor to Hugo Lloris as he is in the latter stages of his playing career - he would eventually need to be replaced moving forwards. After all, Spurs are attempting to build a project under Antonio Conte, and may need quality additions like Pickford who has been excellent for Everton this season to help them to raise their level.

West Ham United Odds: 6/1

West Ham United insider Claret & Hugh have now shared some interesting transfer news out of Rush Green involving Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford. Ahead of this summer transfer window, the Hammers and manager David Moyes face a major decision over what to do in one area of the squad.

Between the sticks, GSB and West Ham have the option to make Alphonse Areola’s loan move from Paris Saint-Germain a permanent one this summer or even re-sign him again on loan.

According to the club insider, West Ham ‘could try to do a deal’ for Pickford if his club are relegated at the end of 2021/2022. The Toffees face a battle to stay up with Moyes apparently keeping tabs on his situation ahead of a potential summer move.

An international hero with England, with ex-Hammer Trevor Sinclair, even calling him one of the world’s best after his Euro 2020 heroics, the 28-year-old has also been lavished with real praise by former Three Lions man Danny Mills and therefore the goalkeeper could be a move for West Ham.

Pickford is priced at 6/1 to move to West Ham in the summer.

Crystal Palace Odds: 9/1

With the recent good form from Patrick Viera’s Crystal Palace, the squad may need some strengthening in the summer, and with Everton potentially facing relegation, the Toffees may not have a choice if they need funds due to their lack of sellable assets.

The English goalkeeper has performed well for many years and has especially shone for his national side in international tournaments, his best performances coming in the most recent European Championships where England managed to get to the final where Pickford made some important saves including from two penalties in the penalty shootout against Italy.

Palace could improve their attacking aspects with a new goalkeeper that is good with his feet as well as being a solid shot-stopper, and he may be an option for the Eagles in the summer transfer window starting in June this year.

Palace are priced at 9/1 to acquire Pickford in the upcoming transfer window.
