              Wrexham vs Forest Green Rovers Preview, Tips & Stats

              Forest Green Rovers travel to Racecourse Ground to take on Wrexham this Saturday in League Two. Wrexham will be looking to close in on top of the table Stockport whereas Forest Green need a win to get off the bottom of the table.

              Wrexham currently sit second in League Two after 43 games. The Red Dragons have 23 wins, ten draws and ten losses, leaving them on 79 points, four points from top of the table Stockport.

              In their last five games in all competitions, Wrexham have four wins and one loss.

              All three of Wrexham’s goals came in the first half with a brace from Andy Cannon and a goal from Paul Mullin giving Wrexham the 3 - 0 lead over Grimsby Town. Arthur Gnahoua did score late on for Grimsby, but Wrexham held on for the 3 - 1 win. Wrexham picked up another win in a big game against Mansfield Town. Mullin scored in the first half and converted a penalty in the second half to give Wrexham the 2 - 0 win.

              However, the next time out saw Wrexham handed a surprise loss by Doncaster. Owen Bailey scored the only goal of the game in the 44th minute to give Doncaster the 1 - 0 win over Wrexham who had just one shot on target. Wrexham bounced back against Colchester. John Akinde gave Colchester the lead early in the second half, but goals from Mullin and Max Cleworth gave Wrexham the 2 - 1 comeback win.

              The last time out for Wrexham was against Crawley Town. Goals from Ryan Barnett and Cannon and a brace from Mullin gave Wrexham the 4 - 1 win over Crawley, with Klaidi Lolos scoring late on for Crawley.

It was another loss for Forest Green, this time against Stockport County. Callum Camps and Rico Richards gave Stockport the 2 - 0 lead at halftime and in the second half Connor Lemonheigh-Evans scored to wrap up a 3 - 0 win for Stockport, with Forest Green once again having zero shots on target.

              However, the next time out saw Forest Green hand Crewe Alexandra a loss. A brace from Jordan Garrick and a goal from Jamie Robson gave Forest Green the 3 - 0 win, even with 28% of the possession. However, Forest Green was back to losing ways against MK Dons. Max Dean and Alex Gilbey both scored in the 2 - 0 win for MK Dons, with Forest Green once again having zero shots on target.

              The most recent outing for Forest Green was against Mansfield Town. Tom Nichols scored the only goal of the game in the 20th minute to give Mansfield the 1 - 0 win.

Wrexham have the marginally better record in the fixture with eight wins in comparison to Forest Green’s five wins.
