Arsenal's Premier League title charge continues this weekend as they take on fellow London club West Ham United.
West Ham United currently sit 7th in the Premier League with ten wins, six draws and seven losses from twenty-three games this season.
The Hammers are having a much-improved campaign domestically after a league season that saw them deep inside the bottom half for the majority of the season last time out.
They're firmly gunning for a finish in the European places this season but they're coming into this one amidst a dip in form having failed to win any of their last six games in all competitions, the most recent of which was a 3-0 defeat to Manchester United.
It was a pretty damning loss for the Hammers at Old Trafford with the game as uncompetitive as the scoreline suggests, with David Moyes' men unable to assert their presence in a way many other sides have been able to this season.
Still, their form on their own patch has remained very strong as they enter this game unbeaten in their last ten games on home soil in all competitions, so even though they're facing another tough opponent they should at least give a better account of themselves here.
They've already beaten Arsenal twice this season; first in a 3-1 win at this venue in the League Cup back in November before an impressive 2-0 win at the Emirates in the league at the back end of December.
If they can make it three wins out of three it'll be quite the achievement for Moyes' Hammers and will go some way to helping them towards a top-six finish.
Arsenal currently sit 3rd in the Premier League with fifteen wins, four draws and four losses from twenty-three games this season.
The Gunners have been up and down this season and it's looked in recent weeks like their title hopes might be slipping away, but a landmark win at the weekend has put them right back on track at the perfect time.
On Sunday afternoon, Mikel Arteta's side welcomed Liverpool to the Emirates in a crunch clash at the top of the league and ran out 3-1 winners in what was a very, very good performance.
The Gunners were on top from the word go and frankly overwhelmed Jürgen Klopp's side, with a 3-1 scoreline not at all flattering to the North Londoners.
Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard sealed the points in a win that puts Arsenal back to within two points of top spot and will no doubt breathe confidence back into the Gunners after a few poor results over the course of the last month.
As previously mentioned, Arsenal have already lost twice to West Ham this season and the Gunners don't exactly have an encouraging away record of late as they come into this one having won just one of their last five games on the road, but following on from such a big result against Liverpool it feels as though the timing of this fixture is very much in their favour.
For our West Ham vs. Arsenal prediction, we're going for a 2-1 win for the away side.
