Czechia are looking to strengthen their place at the top of Group E as they face Faroe Islands this weekend in EURO 2024 qualifying.
Faroe Islands currently sit 4th in qualifying Group E with one draw from one game so far in their campaign.
They got their campaign off to a solid start with a 1-1 draw away at Moldova in a result that they will deem commendable.
Their form overall is still a concern, though, with Faroe Islands having failed to win any of their last four matches.
They did, however, beat Turkey 2-1 in the Nations League five games ago so they're clearly capable of claiming good results despite being such a lowly ranked team.
Their form at home has also been decent of late having won their last two consecutive matches on home soil so they'll be hoping that will help them claim a result here.
Faroe Islands have no chance of progressing from this group but their main objective is to give a good account of themselves and try to improve through experience.
This is a tough game for them but given some of their past results a potential draw is not out of the question.
Czechia currently sit top of qualifying Group E with one win and one draw from their first two games of the campaign.
Czechia began proceedings with a huge 3-1 win over Poland in Prague, a result that stands them in very good stead regarding progression from the group.
They did, though, follow it up with a very disappointing 0-0 draw in Moldova in the following game so they need to make immediate amends here and get back to winning ways.
Their form in general is not brilliant, with Czechia winning two, drawing one and losing two of their last five games.
Their form away from home is even worse, having drawn one and lost four of their last five games on the road.
They can at least take confidence from the fact they faced Faroe Islands back in November and ran out 5-0 winners, so even considering their poor away form they should manage to take three points from this one.
For our Faroe Islands vs. Czechia prediction, we're going for a 2-0 win for the away side.
