Marc Cucurella looks set to leave Chelsea in the current transfer window having not played a single minute of Chelsea's opening three Premier League matches.
The 25-year-old Spaniard who started in Barcelona's youth teams memorably impressed for Brighton & Hove Albion during the 2021/22 season, earning individual accolades such as Players' and Fans Player of the Season awards in his only campaign at the Amex Stadium before joining Chelsea in August 2022 for a rumoured fee of £62m.
However, last season the Spaniard struggled to adapt to life at Stamford Bridge during a turbulent spell for the club that saw them finish 12th place with just 44 points to their name, having been managed by Thomas Tuchel, Graham Potter, Bruno Saltor and Frank Lampard.
Having been frozen out of the Blues first team squad under Mauricio Pochettino, could now be the right time for Cucurella to leave the club on loan or on a permanent basis?
