When Will the 2020/21 Premier League Season Start?

The Premier League 2020/21 start date is, as mentioned, the beginning of September, but when does the season end. In this 2020/21 season, the FA Cup, League Cup and Premier League will all be taking place as normal, as will the Europa League and the Champions League. With this said the 2020/21 Premier League season end date is May 12.

This isn't too different from the dates that normally occur within a regular season, but the start date is, of course, a month later. It will mean, however, games will be played more often, with the likelihood of two games a week set to come into play at some point around the winter period, especially for those out of Europe.

The 2020/21 Premier League season dates have been announced, with the Premier League start date set to begin on September 12.

This will come just three weeks after the conclusion of the Europa League and the Champions League, with the Europa League final date set for August 21 and the Champions League final date set for August 23.

Both the Manchester clubs are the only two remaining sides in Europe now, meaning Wolverhampton Wanderers and Chelsea, who were recently knocked out, can start a healthy preseason, along with Liverpool, Spurs and Arsenal, who were eliminated back in February.

Naturally, this could cause concern for both Manchester United and Manchester City, with the desire to win their respective competitions potentially causing a problem for the start of the new season.
