A struggling Colorado Rapids are looking to turn their fortunes around as they face Houston Dynamo in MLS this weekend.
Colorado Rapids currently sit rock bottom of MLS's Western Conference having won three, drawn nine and lost ten of their twenty-two matches this season.
Colorado have had a fairly miserable campaign up until this point and are, in terms of points accumulated and goal difference, the worst side in MLS this season.
They're coming into this game in typically poor form having won just one of their last five matches, drawing two and losing two of their last five games.
They have, in fairness, taken four points from their last two games having beaten Dallas 2-1 before drawing 0-0 against Portland Timbers.
They're unbeaten in their last four home matches so they're clearly hard to beat on their own turf, but they've also won only one of those four games so there's still some uncertainty in that regard.
Colorado may be the worst side in MLS but they have shown one or two positive signs in recent weeks and a win here would represent a huge step in the right direction.
Houston Dynamo currently sit 8th in MLS's Western Conference with eight wins, four draws and ten losses from twenty-two games this season.
It's been a pretty middling campaign for the side from Texas having failed to string a significant run of form together, with their form manifesting as somewhat of a rollercoaster.
They enter this game woefully out of form having drawn one and lost three of their last four matches, the most recent of which was a damning 0-3 battering at the hands of Minnesota United.
Their form away from home is slightly more encouraging having won two and lost two of their last four games on the road, but having lost three of their last five it's still a point of skepticism.
The last two meetings between these two sides have both ended in draws, and given the shape both sides enter this game in a repeat result would not be a shock.
Both sides are desperately in need of a win but it's tough to make a convincing case for either side taking three points.
For our Colorado vs. Houston prediction, we're going for a 1-1 draw.
