Switzerland are looking to get back to winning ways in EURO 2024 qualifying this week as they face Andorra.
Switzerland currently sit top of qualifying Group I with three wins and two draws from their first five games of the campaign.
The Swiss kicked off with a pair of thumping wins as they beat Belarus 5-0 away from home before battering Israel 3-0 in the following game.
A 2-1 win away in Andorra followed before consecutive 2-2 draws against Romania and most recently Kosovo.
The draw in Kosovo on Saturday night will have been a painful one for the Swiss having gone into added time 2-1 up thanks to goals from Remo Freuler and Amir Rrahmani (OG).
However, a lapse of concentration at the back allowed Vedat Muriqi to bag his second goal of the game and equalise in the 94th minute of the game to seal a point for the home side.
Switzerland are still in a strong position to qualify automatically from the group but a win here would've put clear daylight between themselves and Israel in 3rd, but the gap now stands at just three points and means they can't afford anymore slip ups.
Fortunately for them they face a side here that are one of the weakest in Europe so they should comfortably get back in the win column.
Andorra currently sit rock bottom of qualifying Group I with two draws and three losses from their first five games of the campaign.
Andorra began qualifying with a 0-2 defeat to Romania before drawing 1-1 in Kosovo followed by a 1-2 loss against this week's opponents.
Another 2-1 defeat then occurred away in Israel before being held to a 0-0 draw against Belarus at the weekend.
The draw at home to Belarus was a disappointing one for Andorra given it was effectively their best opportunity to chalk a win on the board in this group.
Given qualifying is not a realistic goal for them registering a win or two is the best they can hope for but the prospect of that is looking increasingly slim.
Andorra have faced Switzerland three times in their history and have lost all three matches, including the meeting in this group, so it's overwhelmingly likely they'll fall to another defeat here.
For our Switzerland vs. Andorra prediction, we're going for a 3-0 win for the home side.
