Aurelien Tchouameni Transfer News & Odds

Real Madrid midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni has been linked with a move away from the Santiago Bernabeu this summer having played 2,120 La Liga minutes in his first campaign at the club across 33 appearances (an average of 64 minutes per game).

The 23-year-old France international was seen as the long-term replacement for Casemiro when he joined from AS Monaco last summer for a fee of €80 million, which could potentially rise to €100 million. So far, Tchouameni has managed to win the UEFA Super Cup, FIFA Club World Cup and Copa del Rey during his Real career.

Liverpool are on the search for a defensive midfielder following the shock departures of Jordan Henderson and Fabinho this summer to Al Ettifaq and Al-Ittihad while also allowing James Milner to leave for Brighton & Hove Albion on a free transfer.

The Reds had previously been linked to moves for the likes of Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia, however, they have seemingly chosen to join Chelsea over the Reds, meaning that high-quality options for this position will come at a premium.

Arsenal have previously been linked with a move for Tchouameni, however, there would likely have to be some outgoings late on in this transfer window for Mikel Arteta’s side to make this deal a reality.
