Tottenham vs Crystal Palace Prediction And Betting Tips

Tottenham welcome Crystal Palace to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this Saturday in the Premier League. Spurs look to leapfrog Aston Villa into the Champions League spots whereas Crystal Palace need a win to keep themselves out of the relegation scrap.

          • Tottenham to win @ 4/9 on William Hill
          • Only one team to score @ 5/4 on Paddy Power
          • Over 1.5 goals @ 1/6 on William Hill

These odds are correct at the time of publication and are subject to change.

The relegation battle is heating up, and Crystal Palace could find themselves drawn into it if they continue on this bad run of form. However, a new manager might see them bring the fight to Tottenham who could re-enter the top four.

Tottenham currently sit fifth in the Premier League after 25 games. Spurs have 14 wins, five draws and six losses, leaving them on 47 points, three points ahead of Manchester United and five points behind Aston Villa.

Spurs have been hit or miss in front of goal this season, scoring 52 goals in 25 games. This is carried to the other end of the pitch, Spurs conceding 38 goals and keeping five clean sheets.

Crystal Palace, on the other hand, sit 13th in the Premier League. In 26 games, The Eagles have seven wins, seven draws and 12 losses which leaves them on 28 points, just eight points above the relegation zone.

The Eagles have struggled in front of goal this season, Palace only managing to score 31 goals in 26 games. However, Crystal Palace have been better defensively, conceding 44 goals and keeping six clean sheets.

Tottenham and Crystal Palace have met 64 times in their histories, with the first meeting coming back in 1906. Spurs have a far better record in the fixture with 36 wins in comparison to The Eagles’ 13 wins. In fact, a draw is more common in this fixture than a Palace win, happening on 15 occasions.

In the last ten games in this fixture, Palace have just one win, the 3 - 0 win back in 2021. However, despite this win, the last four games have seen Tottenham win, with Palace failing to find the back of the net.

          Recent Form

In their last five games in all competitions, Tottenham have two wins, one draw and two losses.

In the Fourth Round of the FA Cup, Tottenham hosted fellow Premier League side Manchester City. Spurs only had one shot and 43% of the possession as Nathan Ake scored the only goal of the game in the 88th minute to give City the 1 - 0 win.

Neal Maupay opened the scoring for Brentford to give The Bees the 1 - 0 lead at halftime. However, goals from Udogie, Brennan Johnson and Richarlison gave Tottenham the 3 - 1 lead before the hour mark. Ivan Toney brought Brentford back into the game but Spurs held on for the 3 - 2 win.

Richarlison gave Tottenham the lead against his old club Everton in the fourth minute but Jack Harrison equalised before the 30 minute mark. However, before the halftime whistle, Richarlison regained the lead for Spurs. Jarrad Branthwaite left it until the 94th minute to grab a 2 - 2 draw for Everton.

A penalty from Pascal Gross in the 17th minute gave Brighton the 1 - 0 lead at halftime. Pape Matar Sarr equalised just after the hour mark and another late goal decided the game, this time from Spurs. Johnson scored in the 96th minute to give Tottenham the 2 - 1 win.

The last time out for Tottenham was against Wolves. Joao Gomes gave Wolves the 1 - 0 lead at halftime, but Dejan Kulusevski equalised just a minute into the second half. However, Gomes completed his brace in the second half to give Wolves the 2 - 1 win.

Tottenham will not be playing this weekend as their scheduled opponents, Chelsea, are playing in the League Cup Final against Liverpool.

In their last five games in all competitions, Crystal Palace have two wins, one draw and two losses.

Ben Brereton Diaz opened the scoring for Sheffield United in the first minute but Eberechi Eze equalised before the 20-minute mark. James McAtee regained the lead three minutes later but Eze completed his brace to make it 2 - 2 at halftime. Olise scored in the second half to grab the 3 - 2 win for The Eagles.

The trip to Brighton saw Lewis Dunk, Jack Hinshelwood and Facundo Buonanotte give The Seagulls the 3 - 0 lead at halftime. Jean-Philippe Mateta got Palace on the scoresheet, but a goal from Joao Pedro secured the 4 - 1 win for Brighton.

Jefferson Lerma gave Palace the 1 - 0 lead at halftime with a wonder goal, but former Eagle Conor Gallagher brought Chelsea level just two minutes into the second half. Palace held on for the draw until extra time where Gallagher and Enzo Fernandez both scored to give Chelsea the 3 - 1 win.

Crystal Palace had just four shots on target and 37% of the possession, but took the lead through Jordan Ayew with 25 minutes to go. However, Amadou Onana scored in the 84th minute to grab a 1 - 1 draw for Everton.

The most recent outing for Crystal Palace was against Burnley. After the early red card to Josh Brownhill, Chris Richards, Ayew and Mateta all scored to give Palace the 3 - 0 win.

          Footy Accumulators Prediction

Despite the managerial switch to Glasner, Crystal Palace are unlikely to grab a new manager bounce against Tottenham. Spurs are likely to win and to shut out Crystal Palace completely. We predict: Tottenham 3-0 Crystal Palace
